It's good to be home! We had a great vacation. Our last two days there were fun. Lots of fishing and boating. (I actually don't want to eat any more fish) Our last trip out I brought my MP3 player with me and I really enjoyed grooving to my music out on the boat. To be honest with you, I enjoy listening to my music really loud, dancing on the bow of the boat, all while fishing! This was truly a freeing, fun experience. Perhaps a little anti-social but I only did it on one trip out. I think fishing is mostly a quiet, sitting activity.
Our last day on the way back to the Miami Airport, we stopped off at a beautiful state park where people go snorkeling on the reef 4-6 miles out. We went on a glass-bottom katamaran. It was very nice. The reef is pretty. We were lucky enough to see two loggerhead turtles, a shark, stingrays, birds, and many beautiful tropical fish. If we go back to the Keys next year, this place will definitely be on our list as a good place to teach the kids how to snorkel.
Flight home good. On the way to Miami I sat next to a nice lady and her daughter from Ecuador. On the way back I sat next to a nice lady and her son from Uraguay. Steve said he sat next to a woman from Revere.
We picked up our little dog from our friend's house. She was nice enough to take her home from the kennel for the last 3 days. I think the kennel was scary to her. She lost a little weight and she's very quiet. She was really happy to see us. Poor thing. I don't know if I can leave her in a kennel again.
Well, It's all good, and I'm honestly glad to be home. That was just enough vacation for me. We're ready to hit the ground running. See ya'll soon. Peace, LPK

"Are we going to your ammy or to my ammy?"

All cousins, all said it when going to Miami, to visit their grandparents.
L. Sounds like the Keys were a perfect vacation. You all got to do a lot of fun stuff.
As O told you Alicia and I were in Orlando Last weekend so I did not get a chance to read your blog till now. Disney is wonderful, as they say "Where Dreams Come True". Kids of all ages love Disney World, that includes me. We stayed in Disney World but actually did most of our sightseeing outside of Disney. I grew up in FLorida so I have visited Disney many times but they keep adding stuff all around Disney so we thought we'ld visit some new adventures.
By the way I was in your ammy 4 weekends ago. Take Care, Jorge
I forgot, We also did a lot of walking and some jogging while at Disney. Jorge
Hey Jorge,
Glad to hear your back and sounds like you had a nice vacation too. O, R, and KP took all the kids to the indoor skateboarding park today. I was supposed to go to, but I seem to have picked up a little bug, probably in your ammy or the airplane,so didn't feel well enough to go. They took P for me so he will be K's kid for today. I promised to only sue her for a buck-three-eighty if he breaks his neck!
Did you really jog at Disney? Florida is not a place I can even think about jogging in. Way toooo hot. However, since it is in the teens here today, I might consider it! Gotta go. I feel a blog post coming on or maybe it's just my nausea still? Whatever. Peace Out, Lorraine
Hey O,
Love the your ammy my ammy thing. Very catchy. My son used to always ask if we were going to visit granma and granma or granpa and granpa. He finally worked through that. I also knew my kids weren't seeing their grandparents enough when I said we were going to visit Grandma and P said, "Is that the lady with the cats?" We've stepped up the visits a bit more.
Thanks for taking P skateboarding today you guys. I really do feel under the weather. ciao, L
Hope you're better L. Yes we had a great time. I jogged only because Alcia wanted to, 2 miles from the Comtemporary to the Grand Floridian. The weather was cool in the morning. By cool I mean 60 deg. I heard skateboarding was fun. Take Care, Jorge
